About Miranda
I have a Bachelors degree in Zoology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and two Associates degrees from College of the Canyons: Associate in Mathematics and Associate in Liberal Arts and Science. When I was a student as COC, I worked as a Math and Science tutor. I tutored chemistry, algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus, differential equations, physics, biology, and chemistry. I also tutored math to students K-12 at Mathnasium, Santa Clarita.

My teaching method is to slow down lectures until the student shows understanding of the material being taught. Right now, teachers accelerate the lesson plans to finish their deadline, so I want to reteach some of the things taught in class, if needed, review the lessons using different examples, and offer explanations that help students comprehend, rather than just memorize information.
