About Nortimer
I am diligent and ambitious investment professional who has recently completed a Masters in Finance. My experience spans from economic and financial planning advice to aiding the development of students through tutoring and lecturing.
I have always adopted the building block approach to learning so that the students I have tutored will achieve a holistic understanding of the topic. The aim is that they can use that understanding in a practical setting.
My patience and willingness to help others develop, creates an environment where all students feel valued.

My teaching style aims to let the student understand the presented content so that they are able to tell a story behind the numbers. I have a demonstrated experience in mentoring, tutoring, and lecturing up until Honours level education. I aim to use my industry experience to provide simple yet practical examples of the work. This is done to make the content relatable to enable the student to build his or her logic through meaningful responses.
I can speak and understand English and Afrikaans. However, English is preferred.
My lessons are aimed at Grade 12 to First year accounting students as well as first year to Honours level finance students. Adult/part-time students are welcome to reach out
