About Brinley
I'm originally from Minnesota and moved to Maine for college! I have worked with kiddos since I was 16, not counting my years of babysitting and nannying before that! Advocacy and making sure you have somebody on your side when it comes to your education is crucial, especially since some teachers and guidance counselors tend to think they would know better about how to handle your education than you! I'm happy to help with any homework, situation, or barrier that comes up. While I only have a Bachelor's in Psychology, I am pursuing a degree in Special Education to best assist my students.

My teaching method and techniques vary on a case-by-case basis. I try to accommodate my teaching method and lesson plans depending on the kiddo I am working with. Whether it's hands-on learning, visual learning, game-style learning, I make accommodations based on how the kiddo learns the best. What sets me apart as a tutor is the flexibility that comes with teaching methods, as well as taking an emotional speel to teaching. I obtained a degree in Psychology and worked as a case manager for a while after graduating, I have learned how to manage and help children through any emotional barriers they might have.
