About Jasmine
Hello i’m Jasmine! I’m an incoming freshman at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor on the pre-med track. Through my experience at a science and math focused highschool, i’ve engaged myself with various teaching styles from hands on to inquiry based teaching. I realized the professor is what made most of my classes truly enjoyable. I try to bring my experience as a student into my tutoring approach by doing everything I can to engage the student and support them in their academic journey. I develop personalized lesson plans after an initial meeting with the student to determine their background knowledge. Afterwards, I present the lesson plan and goals in a encouraging and exciting manner to ensure my students always enjoy their time learning. I’ve had three years of tutoring experience ranging in subjects from writing, Chinese, math, and biology. I have experience teaching students raging from ages 7 to 14 and can teach subjects levels k-12. I’d like to dedicate my time and experience to work with each student closely and help them grow to the best of their ability. I find learning a wonderful life-long passion and I hope to inspire this love in every student I teach. I am easy to reach at any time and will always provide quick responses.
