About Arya
I’m a Computer Science student at Georgia Tech, where I’ve developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills through both advanced coursework and hands-on projects. My passion for math began early—I took AP Calculus BC in high school and earned top scores, and I’ve since spent over two years tutoring students in everything from Algebra to Calculus. I believe that with the right guidance, anyone can excel in math, and I take pride in making complex topics feel approachable and intuitive. I’m patient, thoughtful, and deeply committed to helping each student build confidence, master the material, and reach their full potential.

I begin each lesson by reviewing the basic concepts necessary for the topic at hand, ensuring the student is confident in the prerequisites. I then explain the new material in a clear and structured way, often using real-life analogies or visual aids to make abstract ideas more relatable. I ask the student to teach the concept back to me in their own words which helps identify any areas of confusion. Once the concept is clear, we work through a few practice problems together, during which I guide their thought process and demonstrate effective problem-solving strategies. After that, I give them a set of problems to solve independently, offering support as needed while encouraging autonomy. I end each lesson with a brief review of what we covered, highlighting common mistakes and providing extra resources such as videos, worksheets, or websites to reinforce their learning.
