I am a tutor and student who is passionate about teaching, solving math & physics problems, puzzles, and sports. My approach to teaching is very practical and focuses on making students comfortable with the subject matter. I am currently pursuing the first year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at the University of Auckland. I can teach both Cambridge and NCEA maths & physics syllabuses and have consistently scored A and A* grades at my CIE A-levels. My way of teaching is to understand what the student wants to learn, and my aim will be to teach those topic concepts and practice as many questions as possible in the session. I am keen to teach students of all years. I am looking forward to starting a part-time job that involves guiding and tutoring students in math and physics. I have volunteered teaching a few of my fellow juniors when I was in high school. I believe time management, perseverance, and adaptability are my key strengths. My conviction to explain the concepts to students makes learning fun. I have represented my school in multiple sports such as cricket, table tennis, and football. As a captain, I have actively participated in the student council to organize school events.

Perfect! My daughter has really benefited from her lesson. She feels much more confident and prepared for her NCEA level 2 probability exam.
- Stella is inquisitive and that makes teaching her very fun! I would strongly recommend she practice exam questions by following procedure approaching a problem with steps I mentioned. Her conceptual understanding of normal distribution has increased and I am sure she will be able to solve questions on her own end to end.Soham's response :

Soham, has experience of tutoring in Mathematics and Physics. He is particularly good at concepts and can bring wide variety of problem solving techniques needed to get clarity of the various topics. He has good patience to teach and encourage students to do well in studies.
