I am a 2nd year undergrad at the University of York. I want to teach because I enjoy helping people find their understandings of more complex topics. My aspiration is to help as many people that believe themselves incapable find their footing in more academic subjects.

My approach to tutoring is to make use of the fact it is extracurricular. I will provide assistance with understanding concepts within the topics, due to me favoring an approach from multiple angles towards a single solution. I've previously partaken in a program at 6th form where I would assist a year 7 currently struggling with mathematics, approaching problems from multiple angles and reassuring them that they are capable of understanding mathematics. My lessons are primarily for GCSE students as that's where I'm most comfortable that I can help, but I can potentially assist in A-level study.
