About Yuen Yeng
Hi everyone! My name is Yuen Yeng, and I'm currently a first-year undergraduate at UCL. I am passionate about teaching because I believe in disseminating the skills I've learned and picked up over the course of 4 years being in the British education system. This goes especially for English, as it is a subject that can be difficult to know how to score well in, where I've scored A*s both times. But I believe that I can try and help, with some of the knowledge I've picked up over the years as well. So, if you're in need of some assistance you know where to find me!

My lessons would be for students at both the GCSE and A-Level standard, around the ages of 15-18/19, as I have gone through both exams and have understood how to write well to get good marks in both exams. My techniques will be mostly focused on providing external feedback on your essays, whilst also explaining any techniques, content or language that is difficult to understand. The typical length of a lesson would be an hour to an hour and a half, depending on what level the student is at and how much comments I give on in the previous lesson. I have experience in marking and providing feedback on essays judging by the criteria of each specific exam board's needs and wants from students in lower years below me as well.
