About Isabel
Hi, I'm Isy. After thoroughly enjoyed GCSE (achieving a grade 8) and A-Level chemistry (achieving an A), I am now an undergraduate at the University of Bath studying chemistry with management. I started tutoring because I know how confusing topics in chemistry such as quantitative and organic chemistry can be at first but with time, practice and patience it can become understandable and eventually, it will click. I explain concepts step-by-step and use exam-style questions to build confidence whilst also improving exam technique. I am a patient and approachable person and aim to make sure students feel comfortable asking any question as this really is what learning is about.

I have a strong understanding of chemistry and can break down complex concepts into small more understandable ideas. Each lesson would be uniquely tailored to each student's learning style. I will break down complex concepts into simple, clear explanations. I aim to help students build confidence in their understanding of the course, as well as working on exam techniques hopefully making chemistry feel more manageable.
