About Libby
Hello! I am currently studying English Language and Linguistic Science at the University of York.
I have experienced, both being the student and being the tutor, a variety of learning environments, including working with children at primary and secondary school age, as well as children with SEND in a homeschool environment. My organised, patient and self-driven work ethic allows me to provide creative and resourceful materials that help the student to achieve their academic needs whether this be on homework tasks or enhancing a topic within their mainstream schooling.

When learning, I believe it should be fun and engaging, allowing the student to enhance their current abilities in way that will cover the basics of the topic at hand, as well as incorporate it in activities (games, quizzes) that will work upon their memory and adaptation skills. Lessons will typically last around 30-60 minutes, depending upon the student's age, requirements and how they feel I can best support them - in which will be established within the first session.
I have previously worked with students ranging from 4-15 years, including those with SEND or in a homeschool environment and so am available to cover KS1, KS2, KS3, up to GCSE in a variety of settings.
I have A-A* English Language and Literature grades and am currently studying the subject at a Russell group university.
