My wish to teach students is driven by my love of the study of English Literature; now that I have achieved my dream of studying it at a university renowned for its English department, I want to bolster my ambition and sense of achievement by helping others study the subject I love so much.

I seek to simultaneously simplify and incite passion and excitement for the study of English and English Literature, by teaching both the basic essentials of studying different types of text (poetry, novels, plays) and digging deeper into the substance of a text, its themes, its context. My interest in history also drives my teaching of authorial and social context to a text.
