About Kiana
I have 1 year of experience. I can help with English and Math. I'm 22, a mother to be, and I love teaching new things to young people. I worked for a company called Avid Little Readers, I taught/tutored math and reading and absolutely love it! I have 2 younger siblings who are homeschooled and I teach them sometimes. I was homeschooled myself, taught myself almost all the subjects we need to learn in school. In high school, I even tutored kids my age on the side to help improve their test scores. I'm currently in college getting an Associates Degree in the Science of Business. But after working with the kids in Avid Little Readers, I'm currently in the process of changing my major to have an Associates or Bachelors degree in Education.

I love to make my lessons fun and personal. I always like for my students to feel comfortable and to look forward to their tutoring sessions with me. I like to make cute and colorful slide shows and add educational videos, and I even add learning games in to make it more interesting. I like for everyone to show their imaginations because everyone has different learning styles.
