About Sriyash
I’m a Georgia Tech Industrial & Systems Engineering student who took IB HL Physics, Math AA, and Economics. I’ve run peer study groups, coached friends through IA planning, and helped first-years build steady habits in math, physics, and coding. I teach with a plan, show my working, and keep the focus on skills you can reuse on any problem. Teaching method and techniques:
Start with a quick diagnostic to see what you already understand and where the gaps are
Teach by doing: short explanations, then guided problems, then you solve while I coach
Use simple checklists, formula sheets, and error logs so you remember what actually works
Retrieval and spaced practice every lesson so knowledge sticks
For math/physics: draw first, units always, sanity checks, and repeatable problem templates
For coding: pair-programming, tiny tests, readable code, and short reviews of your work
For exams: past-paper drills, timing plans, and “post-mortems” that turn mistakes into rules
A typical 60–90 minute lesson
Warm-up (5 min): quick recall quiz or one problem from last time
Goal set (5 min): what we’ll finish today and how we’ll measure it
Teach with example (15–20 min): one core idea shown two ways
You try (20–30 min): graduated problems while I coach hints, not answers
Wrap-up (10 min): summarize rules, update error log, make a 3-step plan
Take-home: 20–30 minutes of targeted practice, not busywork
