About Amber
I have been giving lessons to 3 students at secondary school level, one of whom is working towards GCSE exams, each for 2 years up to now. I am keen to share my knowledge of and enthusiasm for French with others and inspire children to love the language as much as I do!

Want to make French fun and fresh? Contact me! I can teach children the basics at a beginner level, through to guiding students through their GCSE and A Level exams. I've been studying French at home and school for 9 years. I tailor lessons to suit the needs of individuals; no student is the same!
I am currently only able to give lessons to students at their house or at another convenient place. One of my lessons lasts for one hour but can be extended for a price that is lower than the cost per hour. Lessons for students of a beginner level or up to year 9 are at a rate of £18/hr. From year 9 up to and including GCSEs is £22/hr.
I can also tutor students at AS Level, which is now the first year of the linear course, at a rate of £25/hr.
My love of the French language lies particularly in the grammar, and so I would naturally focus on this in lessons with students of relevant ages (younger students may not yet find it useful, depending on their age). I believe grammar is the fundamental basis of any language, and once you understand the basics, you can be well on your way to mastering a language. I am also able to tutor for reading, writing, comprehension and speaking. The first lesson would be spent finding out what the student's needs are and where I can help specifically.
