About Tirza
Hi! My name is Tirza and I am a first (ongoing second-year) undergraduate studying Law at the University of Cambridge. I specialise in English literature and History (KS3, GCSE, and A-level). I also offer university/Oxbridge application prep for year 12-13. I am a friendly, approachable and passionate about bringing out the full potential of my students. I've achieved 11 A-A*s at GCSE, and A*A*A at A-level. I was amongst the top 1% in my cohort and achieved a scholarship for top GCSE grades in my borough. In my A-level coursework, I achieved full marks in History and English literature. I also obtained a score of 29/42 in my LNAT (7 marks above the national average). As I have experienced the admissions process first-hand, I am able to give more comprehensive and specific support to the students in overcoming the nerves and acing their interviews/tests.

For English/History tuition, I can offer lessons for KS3 - A-level. The length of the lesson is typically 1 hour. 2 hours may be available for intensive tuition, available for A-level students. As part of the tuition, I would provide the students with A* exemplar essay packs, flashcards, and detailed study resources for each topic. I would focus on strengthening exam technique, with key reference to the mark scheme and examiners' reports, to improve their grade.
I can also offer Oxbridge/university application prep for Law. This tuition would only be available for year 12-13, lasting 1hr - 1hr 30. The prep would include guidance on writing a personal statement, admissions tests (LNAT/CLT), and interview support. The student will also be given an admissions pack with LNAT/CLT essays, book/podcast recommendations, and key tips on how to tackle interview questions (personal and scenario-based).
I can travel to Barking, Dagenham, Newham and Ilford only for the lessons.
