About Gabriel
I currently work as a mathematics assistant in algebra, trigonometry, precalculus, and calculus I, and I have been for the past three semesters, so tutoring is not something that is new for me. I am also someone who does NOT like being problematic, so I prefer to take an easy, laid-back approach to things, so when I tutor someone, and they're getting frustrated, I like making some small talk or cracking some jokes just to alleviate them from some stress. Everyone knows that math, and academic studies in general, can be frustrating, so I would like to make that experience as easy and simple as I can while still helping the student understand everything they need to succeed.

I like seeing that "aha!" moment in students, so no matter how long or difficult a question may be, I always love working through the problems with students until they can confidently say they understand it, rather than brush me off with "I get it". Since high school, I've always helped others to learn, mainly in mathematics, so I can say I've developed the patience to help pretty much anyone, and through trial and error, I've learned some of the best ways to get through to people with the right words. As I am a senior, about to graduate in mechanical engineering, I can also assist anyone up to an undergraduate level.
