About Daniel
Hi, my name is Daniel, and I am a Mathematics student at the University of Warwick, with a mission to make maths more approachable and enjoyable for everyone!
As a student who overcame many personal challenges in maths, I understand the struggles that many students share: the frantic mental scramble. a race against the clock to find the correct formula to apply.
What helped me alleviate this problem (and what I'm hoping to help you with), is focusing on the ideas behind the methods, rather than the methods themselves. As soon as I did, maths became a different subject altogether: memory is an unreliable tool to rely on, but once an idea has been absorbed, it remains there forever.
Now a student at one of the most competitive Universities in the world for Mathematics, and as someone who has seen how beautiful and powerful the subject can be, I'm embarking on a journey to share my passion with the world, and I would be very happy if you joined me on this adventure!

During lessons, I create an environment that encourages discussion. Throughout the course of an hour, we will work together to solve problems that would guide us to important results, with an emphasis on the intuition behind ideas. You will get many opportunities to practice, and to build familiarity with the content. Rememer - maths is not a spectator sport!
In the past, I've used this method to tutor students taking their GCSE and A Level exams, allowing them to develop into confident mathematicians, and achieve excellent grades. If you are a GCSE or A Level student looking to improve your maths skills, don't hesitate to get in touch!
