About Elena
Hello! My name is Elena, and I'm an undergraduate mathematics student at UCL. Prior to that, I achieved 3 A*s in my Maths, Further Maths and French and an A in Physics A-Level; as well as a full set of 9s in GCSE.
I have already been tutoring GCSE Mathematics face-to-face for the past 2 years to children in my locality.
Outside of maths, I enjoy playing the guitar, reading books, dancing and taking too many pictures of my dog.

My approach to teaching mathematics centres around assessing the most suitable learning method for my students. Once we start working together, I can quickly figure out whether it would be most beneficial for your learning to start by revising key concepts in the syllabus and focusing on learning the specification; or if we should go straight to problem-solving and past papers.
I believe that there isn't one universal formula for grasping mathematics but through my lessons, the aim would be a wholistic mastery of key concepts through memorisation and problem solving.
