About James
I found maths a challenging topic during my time at secondary school. However, after devising my own methods and understanding I began to see improvements in my subjects containing maths. Towards the end of of my schooling life I began to enjoy maths and subjects containing applied maths so much so, I decided to undertake a Mechanical Engineering degree and since then my mathematical ability has improved at an exponential rate. I understand the importance of laying down the foundations of maths for success in education, which I have gained through my own experiences.

Understanding mathematical topics can be confusing however, with the right explanation and interactive proofs maths can be exciting and rewarding. My teaching methods includes understanding the analytical method and the reasoning behind the method, to ensure the student feels confident when tackling questions in exams.
