About Jia
Hi, I’m Jia, a Neuroscience undergraduate at the University of St Andrews. I’ve grown up across Zimbabwe, Dubai, and London, which has given me a multicultural perspective and a real appreciation for how differently people learn and think. I want to teach because I know how powerful the right guidance can be — not just for exams, but for building confidence and unlocking potential. Tutoring lets me share both my academic skills and the study strategies I’ve developed along the way, while creating a space where students feel supported, understood, and motivated. With me, you won’t just memorise answers. You’ll learn how to approach challenges, understand concepts deeply, and carry those skills forward into every stage of your education.
