About Samantha
My name is Sam. I currently go to St.Andrews university and I am studying a masters in physics. I am a very sociable person and like meeting others and I enjoy a challenge. There were times where I used to struggle at school and I massively appreciated being able to talk to the older years about it was they were people who had been through the same experience and could understand where I was coming from. I think that’s really important to have especially when going through school as sometimes it’s harder for older people such as teachers to relate. Sometimes it’s being stuck on the smallest of things and then something clicks or sometimes it’s having to dissect a problem completely to even understand it, either way I have every faith that we will get there in the end. All it takes is a little practice, patience and positivity. Academics can be hard sometimes but it’s having the belief in yourself that with a little bit of time and attention the problems can be tackled!

Everyone learns differently and harnessing our academic individuality is how we thrive. Finding it can be a challenge but hopefully one I can help with! I haven’t officially tutored privately before however I am a very friendly person who has always helped out others therefore I thought I’d give it a go!
