About Phoebe
As someone who has had a passion for teaching since my early years in learning, beginning my degree marks an opportunity for me to pass on my knowledge and skills to students who may find themselves struggling in their subjects, or who wish to excel as far as possible.
I would love to see more young students not only achieving well in STEM subjects but also enjoying them, and perhaps finding their future in them as I have.
Maths and Physics sessions shouldn't just be hours of dry calculations, and although sometimes that is necessary, there are many ways to make even the dullest topics fun and interesting that I have learnt over my studies, and occasionally you'll find something that absolutely fascinates you!

I offer flexibility with a students personal methods and attitudes towards learning. Through observing a students areas of difficulty and the techniques they themselves employ towards their learning, I aim to help them overcome any struggles and in the process learn new techniques and methods that they can apply elsewhere in their education and throughout their daily lessons.
Typical lengths of a lesson would be an hour, but can be otherwise discussed.
I completed my maths and physics GCSES at grade 9. I also have A levels in Maths and Physics and am currently undertaking a Bachelors with Honours in Physics. I have some experience in tutoring so far that I am eager to extend.
As a current undergraduate student I am constantly developing and refining methods towards learning as I undertake my studies, so I may be able to offer insight to students on ways to assist their learning that they have not been taught or considered.
My lessons are aimed at GCSE students during any point of their course.
