About Viraj
I was not always a good student.In fact, for most of my life, I have had difficulty learning the material. However, in the 8th grade I was paired with an excellent tutor that completely changed the way I learned and processed information. I took what I learned from them and continued to refine the techniques to my current point. Now I feel that I am not only a successful student but a passionate learner. I want to impart this style of treating schoolwork like a puzzle and changing the way tasks are viewed.

I like to employ a style of gradual learning based on the scaffolding approach currently applied across school curriculums nation wide. At first, I will do the problem fully and will point all of the insights/tips and tricks that I use to decode the problem. Then I will ask the student to take on more responsibility with solving the problem until they are able to operate fully independently. At this point, I will try and find difficult problems where next steps of learning involve decoding or connecting many different concepts.
