About Habeba
Hi! I’m Habeba Hossain, I’m from Liverpool but currently studying at Princeton University. I have a wide range of interests, but when it comes to Maths, I love pure Maths. Funny enough, I used to dislike Further Maths Statistics at school… and now I’m studying Financial Engineering! Life has a way of surprising you. I want to tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping others grow. My goal is to make students feel more comfortable with Maths and maybe even discover they enjoy it, just like I eventually did with Statistics! Fun fact: I genuinely find solving equations relaxing — it’s my version of meditation :)

My approach begins with getting to know the student and understanding their strengths, areas for improvement, and how they feel about Maths as a subject. We'll walk through their syllabus together and create a personalised checklist to track progress, ensuring each session is targeted and purposeful. Each 60-minute session, we will start with a 5-minute reflection to check in and set goals, followed by focused work on specific skills then recap and identify any areas that need continued attention. I want to ensure that you understand the content and skills applied in the question so that you are comfortable and prepared for the final exams!
