About Katelyn
I am an undergraduate at the University of Cincinnati and I am majoring in Neurobiology. Growing up, I have always done well with reading and writing. Every essay that I have written, I have always gotten a good grade on it. I have a strong voice when it comes to writing. I am very detail-oriented and I want to help other students do well on their essays.

These tutoring sessions are for middle school students, high school students, and college students who have trouble with writing essays and need help. I offer lessons on how to structure an essay and I offer to proofread essays before they are turned in. I also offer helpful tips, such as different phrasing and wording that can be used in the essay that can set it apart from other essays.
My typical plan for essay proofreading and writing starts out with having the student send me their essay beforehand, so that I can read what they have written and I can come into the session prepared with any pointers, tips, and advice. During the session, I will explain what can be added or taken away from the essay, along with any helpful hints or tips I think would be useful. I also offer to read the final draft and make sure everything looks okay so that the student will do well and get a good grade.
