About Arman
I’m a current freshman at Harvey Mudd College, looking to major in mathematical and computational biology. I’ve tutored students ranging from ages 13-16 before in mathematics, as well as economics, physics, and more, so I’ve come to learn how to pick the right lesson plan for each student.
I’m fluent in English, and Bangla. I’m a firm believer that there are no stupid questions when it comes to learning, and I endeavour to create a comfortable learning environment at all times, where you can ask whatever pops into your head.

As someone who’s been specialising in mathematics for over 2 years, I’ve picked up many learning methods and learnt how to apply them when teaching others, including choosing the method that suits the tutee best.
I’ve taught mathematics on middle school levels and high school levels, including various syllabuses (IGCSE, IB, etc.)
As a university student myself, who has recently graduated from high school, I am comfortable with recent syllabuses of middle and high school and aware of the teaching methods that are commonly used at this level. From my experience and observations, these are not effective on every student, which is why my lesson plans are personalised to the student, with special focus on their weakness and syllabus.
If you feel that mathematics is not your strength, or it’s something that you are growing to dislike, I would highly recommend you give these lessons a chance, as you may come to find that it wasn’t mathematics you were having an issue with, but the way it was being taught.
