About Jared
My name is Jared Seabrook-Wafer and I am a current student at the University of Cambridge.
I have previous experience in tutoring Maths and Economics A level, with expertise in Macro and Micro economics. I am looking to take on new tutees for online lessons and I am dedicated to helping students excel and achieve their academic goals. I have a strong understanding of many exam board curriculums including AQA, OCR and Edexcell and a proficient understanding in others.
I have a strong understanding of how information is stored in the brain through semantic memory as well as techniques that can be used to improve memory retention.
I would describe my self as a passionate and encouraging tutor, who is responsive to challenges students may face.

My teaching style takes a personalized and comprehensive approach to tutoring and can be flexible based on the students needs. From working through practice questions and marking papers to teaching concepts from scratch, I am able to tailor the lessons to best fit individual student's learning styles.
Maths can be a frustrating and daunting subject and I understand the importance of building confidence in my students. I provide continuous support and encouragement, empowering students to overcome challenges and believe in their own abilities. By fostering a growth mindset and instilling a love for learning, I hope to help students reach their full potential.
I offer online 1-1 lessons for all abilities at a low cost and have previous experience in tutoring both A-level and GCSE maths for over a year alonside completing my degree.
