About Abigail
I am currently a student at the Texas Academy of Math and Science at The University of North Texas, on the computer science track. I continue to take high-level math courses on the college level, as well as computer science courses which apply that mathematical logic. I personally enjoy understanding the why behind all of the technology we use daily, and hope to engage students in this deeper meaning as well. I studied extensively for the SAT and ACT standardized tests as well as my classes, so I understand what it's like to work towards a set goal score.

I work to help students understand the underlying theorems and logic behind mathematical concepts. Then, I ensure their understanding through careful practice problems, including word problems with interesting real-world applications. I work mostly with middle school and high school students, and I find them easy to engage with since we are often closer in age. Taking a class with me feels like studying with a helpful friend, instead of a compulsory class.
