About Adam
I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Southampton, pursuing a degree in Chemistry. My motivation for studying this field stems from a desire to gain a comprehensive understanding of the world around me, with the long-term goal of contributing to environmental solutions and climate research. I have a passion for problem-solving and thoroughly enjoy thought-provoking questions that challenge me to explore beyond my current knowledge. I’ll be particularly impressed by any tutees who can consistently pose such questions! In my free time, I enjoy hiking and immersing myself in films—watching as many as I can fit into my schedule.

I offer a friendly and personable tutoring style, aiming to quickly understand each student’s unique way of learning. Every 1-hour lesson is designed to give a clear and complete understanding of a topic, and I also provide complementary flashcards and additional exam questions when appropriate to help reinforce the material. During Sixth Form, I was employed by my school to support students in Years 7 to 11 with homework and exam preparation. This experience has equipped me to tailor my teaching to all levels from Year 7 up to GCSE. For A-level Chemistry students who are looking to push further, I offer tutoring that goes beyond the syllabus. I’m currently studying Chemistry at university, so I love sharing deeper insights and showing how what you're learning now connects to real science at the next level.

Adam is a reliable young man who is very organised. He knows lots of strategies for revision and is adept in differentiating for differing abilities.
I have known Adam for a few years now and I know he is a fantastic tutor and human being, I know he has prior experience in this field and he has a real passion for Chemistry and sharing his knowledge. We met in our chemistry lessons at school and he helped me to improve my grade just from the way he explains the difficult concepts in a way that is much easier to understand. If he is available I would absolutely sign up for his lessons as they would be invaluable. His teaching style is very welcoming and will make any prospective student feel at ease and supported from the first lesson. Adam has a real desire to help others and I know that given the chance he will be able to help you with any of your chemistry needs!
