About Vicky
I am an undergraduate student at the University of Lincoln studying Psychology with Forensic Psychology. Whilst teaching is not my career path, it once was which is why I spent the academic year (2022-2023) working in a Primary school during my gap year. It was the biggest life lesson I have had, and I loved every second of it.
I am kind, patient, charismatic and incredibly understanding. I am not a judgmental person and as someone who has asked many silly questions during my education, I can assure you that all silly questions are welcome if they contribute to your level of understanding! I am very hardworking and I am goal driven. I will always put in 100% into everything I do.
I believe that the key to success is a positive environment as well as support and enjoyment. This is what I strive to include in my sessions.

I have found that interactive lessons encourage progress the most. It is a safe space where we can explore maths together to help understanding as well as learning the subject. I can tailor lessons based on the individual and can provide resources that can aid the session. I also believe in building up confidence in oneself as that promotes progress.
I have worked in a primary school for a year as a TA so have a lot of knowledge in working with children and teaching techniques (2(concealed information)). I have a Grade 7 (Grade A) in higher maths so can also help with GCSE foundation maths comfortably.
My lessons are primarily for students aged 5-11 but I can also help those struggling in GCSE foundation Maths. Sessions would be for an hour per time, but I am open to other lengths of time.
