About Tom
I started tutoring a couple years back and brought my first student from a 2 in foundation Maths and Foundation science to getting a 5 (the max) in all of these, even reaching third top in his class in exams. Having gone through all these exams from 11+ up to alevels, I know exactly how the exams work and the best way to study. I also went through A-levels and GCSEs with the new syllabuses that a lot of tutors wouldn’t have encountered so much of, which makes it easier for me to follow along with any student’s current line of study.

I am a physics student at sheffield averaging at a first. I reached A* in physics and A in maths at A-level along with all 9s in GCSE for science and maths. I will teach maths and physics at all levels and can help prepare for SATs, and 11+ exams. I can help with any level and exam board or equivalent qualifications, at foundation or higher level. I’m always free throughout the week for extra help outside of lessons and will help with in school work, homework, or practice exam questions.

Tom tutored my younger sister in her GCSE’s in both maths and physics, two subjects she not only struggled with but also did not enjoy at all. After weekly sessions with Tom, her attitude towards these subjects sky rocketed and from her predicted grades of 6 in maths and 5 in physics, she earned GCSE grades of an 8 in both!! being just a few marks away from a 9 in maths! could not be more grateful for Tom.
