About Margo
Hi! I’m an IGCSE Business Studies tutor who knows what it’s like to be on the student side of things — being close in age to my students helps me explain things in a relatable and easygoing way. I’ve recently taken the course myself and finished with the highest grade in my class. I know how confusing some topics can feel at first, so my goal is to explain them in a simple, clear way using real-life examples so my students will understand. My lessons are relaxed but focused — I’ll help you understand the content, improve your exam technique, and feel confident going into your assessments. As an IGCSE Business Studies tutor, I aim to make every concept clear, relevant, and engaging for business-lovers. I don’t just teach theory — I help students understand how business works in the real world, using examples like my own project for a Balticus watch brand to explain topics such as marketing, finance, and strategy. I structure each lesson around the student's needs, starting with a quick review, followed by a simple, focused explanation of key concepts, and then guided practice using real IGCSE exam questions. I also teach exam techniques, like how to structure 6- and 9-mark answers to match the mark scheme. What sets me apart is that I recently completed the IGCSE myself with one of the highest grade improvements in my class, so I understand the challenges students face and how to overcome them. My lessons are ideal for IGCSE students aiming for grades 6–9 who want to build strong business knowledge and gain confidence before exams :)
