Understand Music Theory at Your Pace – Teacher with 15 Years of Conservatory Training

I used to play the piano when I was young, and I felt miserable to give up. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to meet Mathis, and I felt right away that I could still play the piano thanks to him. Mathis is a real teacher; he allows the student to go fast or slowly in their practice, he explains why and where I have some difficulties, he is a real musician and knows harmony quite well, he plays the double bass and organ. He makes sure that the student improves their abilities with pleasure, and at the age of 84, I still enjoy playing the piano because he gave me good advice and self-confidence. I do hope some people will have the luck to meet him and learn to play the piano with him.

I started taking piano and music theory lessons again at the age of 60 after a very difficult experience with a strict teacher when I was a child.
For many years I thought that I simply was not capable of learning music.
Thanks to Mathis' patient and supportive teaching, I finally understood why I had been blocking for so long. Mathis adapted the lessons to my pace and helped me rebuild my confidence step by step.
