About Arsh
I have been playing chess for over 7 years. I am a FIDE rated player who has taught many kids over time. Currently I am a first year in a university in Sydney. I love teaching and I have a passion for chess. I have been teaching chess 1-1 for almost a year and professionally quite recently but due to a location change I can't manage my old job. Very easy going and I am not afraid to answer questions. I believe the more questions that are asked, the more clear a concept becomes. I moved to Australia from India about 5 years ago so I am fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi.

About the lesson

Each lesson ranges from 30 - 40 minutes. A set lesson plan that starts from basic tactics, development of pieces, opening strategies, middlegame analysis, and endgame tactics. Tournament tips also covered. Chess notation also taught which is used in tournaments. Later, tournament games are also analysed and feedback is suggested. FIDE rated player with a teaching experience of 2 years and a set syllabus. Classes for any age who has a basic knowledge of piece movement. Flexible in making changes to lesson plans according to the needs of the student.
