About Diana
I recently changed careers -- from over 20 years in software product management -- to teaching and tutoring English, Business English, and ESL students. I specialize in helping non-native English speakers navigate the business and professional world. I created and taught an ESL class for 3 years, called The Language and Culture of American Business, and am now working in one-on-one classes.

My teaching approach begins with a student assessment, where I come to understand what my student wants to achieve from class, and where I can help make the greatest impact. I like my students to lead their learning process and to be fully interactive in class. I recognize that language and culture go hand in hand, so many of my classes evolve from drawing comparisons between American and other countries' cultural and linguistic patterns.
