About Innocent Vuyokazi
Hello! My name is Innocent Tyhulu, I am a passionate and dedicated tutor from Katlehong, currently studying B.Ed in intermediate Phase and Inclusive Education at UNISA.
I truly love working with primary school learners in Grades 4 to 6. I understand that every child is unique and learns at their own pace, especially learners who need extra support. My goal is not just to improve marks, but to build confidence and make learning fun again.
I have experience helping young learners with homework, reading, and understanding difficult topics in English, Maths and Life Skills. I am patient, caring, reliable and I always prepare my lessons according to the CAPS curriculum.
I offer supportive online lessons that are interactive and easy to follow. I am fluent in English, and I can also explain concepts in isiZulu and Sesotho to help learners understand better.

My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and confidence-building. I am a UNISA B.Ed student in Inclusive Education, so I specialise in helping learners who need extra time and clear explanations.
My methodology: I start by finding where the learner is struggling, then I explain in simple steps with examples from daily life. We practise together, do homework together, and I give small fun tasks to build confidence. No rushing, no shouting – every child learns differently.
Languages: I teach fluently in English and I can also explain in isiXhosa and Sesotho when a learner needs extra clarity.
What to expect in a typical lesson: 10 minutes recap of last lesson, 30 minutes new topic explanation with examples, 15 minutes practice and homework help, 5 minutes feedback for parent/learner.
My lessons are aimed at Grades 4 to 7 primary school learners, including learners who need additional learning support, learners who are behind in class, and learners who want to improve marks and confidence in English, Maths and Life Skills. Online lessons via video call.
