About Amber
Language instruction should mirror the organic development of a musical phrase. I start every new partnership with a diagnostic level test before we build the plan for your progress. My approach combines the structural rigor of my academic background with the flexibility required for hobbyists, teens, and advanced learners.
We will tackle business French, interview preparation, and DELF/DALF exams through a lens of cultural immersion. You will master liaison sounds and everyday idioms using the same discipline I apply to my violin teaching. My training from the Schulich School of Music informs how I help you hear the rhythm of the language. Success arrives when communication feels effortless.

Growing up in Montreal meant that French was always part of my daily rhythm before I formalized my studies at the Conservatoire de Montréal. I possess a License en Lettres that complements my 8 years of experience in language pedagogy. My classroom is a place where nuance matters. I have mentored hundreds of students through linguistic hurdles.
Watching a learner grasp a complex nasal sound is truly rewarding. Sometimes, the most rewarding moments are the simplest ones. Precision is my primary tool for teaching.
I enjoy the clarity that comes from accurate grammar. Helping students find their voice in a new language feels like conducting a perfect symphony.
