About Serena
I am doing a bachelors degree in Biochemistry at Exeter University. I have four years of tutoring experience at GCSE level, and I myself achieved A*'s at GCSE and A's at A Level. I am good at explaining things to others simply, catering to many different types of learners with differing ability levels. I really understand how frustrating learning these difficult scientific concepts can be, so I want to make the experience as fun as possible!

I make my classes as engaging as possible by including as much interactive learning as possible. Lessons can be so boring when teachers just talk AT you rather than learn WITH you! Students struggling with scientific concepts often don't even realise their potential, therefore my goal is to build students' confidence so they end up loving science rather than dreading it.
