About Taka
Coming from an academic background in STEM subjects, I understand the challenges that Mathematics can present. From struggling to grasp concepts to feeling frustrated when your answer is far from correct, I’ve been there. Teaching gives me the opportunity to share my knowledge and help you overcome these obstacles to truly conquer Maths! Having studied Mathematics at GCSE, A-Level, and University level, I’ve developed a variety of techniques and strategies that I’m eager to share with you. I recognise that every student learns differently, and my goal is to offer tailored solutions that you feel comfortable with. I strive to create an environment where you feel supported, encouraged, and empowered to explore new ideas. Online tutoring allows me to positively impact students' confidence and knowledge while working from the comfort of my own home. I’m excited about the opportunity to work together and make Maths a little bit easier!

-My lessons will be purely focused on what topics you need help with -I will request topics and areas you find difficult before the lesson, giving me time to devise a plan so I can help you understand the content and solve the questions that come with it -During the lesson I will carefully explain the techniques and formulae of the area we are covering and will solve problems together -At the end of every lesson a mini test consisting of only a few questions will be presented to give an opportunity to apply the learnings and also lets me gauge whether more work needs to be done -Lessons will be 1 hour -Lessons are for any Maths students taking GCSEs
