About Oscar
I have been schooled in many different systems throughout Europe and South Africa which has given me a comprehensive view of maths. I took 5 A-levels where I got A's across maths, further maths and physics.
I understand the inner workings of GCSEs having tutored a group of year 11s throughout my year 12. I have also coached my siblings through the process at all levels.
Studying maths at University level has also given me an idea of where concepts may lead in order to better understand and teach them.
I achieved top 10 and 100 finishes in the South African Maths Olympiad at junior levels.

Work on an individual basis, with problem-solving and worked examples at the forefront of how I teach. I can teach A-levels, GCSE, SATs and 11+ exams. I have done courses in training as a maths tutor as well.
I believe large improvements can be made quickly through discipline and continued effort and instilling these is as important in my lessons as the maths itself.
