About Emily
I have extensive experience with admissions assistance, offering it during university and giving mutual feedback to others whilst the application process was ongoing. Having reviewed many personal statements, I am very familiar with what elements are most conducive towards success, and can offer further lesser-known resources for preparation during one's own time. Whilst the personal statement format has changed in recent years, universities are still looking for the same qualities, and I look to make the requirements less daunting. I am supportive and can hopefully assist in reducing the inevitable tension interviews provoke, with preparation often being key to success!

With increasing competition for university places, it is important to give yourself the best possible chance by holistically considering all elements of your application. I aim to help you in identifying your greatest comparative advantages to other applicants, avoid common pitfalls, and face university-specific processes with confidence. For Cambridge in particular, I am very familiar with what interviewers will expect, and look to guarantee competency in one's communication abilities, as well as ensure you can stand out. I can aid at all points of the application process, with developing or critiquing a personal statement, providing mock interviews or suggestions for supercurricular activities that go beyond rote suggestions. I am unfortunately unable to assist with admissions tests at this time.
