About Phetho
I am currently (2024) a second-year medical student at UCT. I concurrently run a separate tutoring platform that serves over 140 learners across South Africa, teaching Mathematics and Physical Sciences.
I believe that with the right approach and time, anyone can understand anything. One of the major obstacles to this is resources, hence why I make access to that platform free.
However, given that we are not financially supported by anyone I hope to supplement it and improve our set-up to aid an even more effective approach to interactive learning.

-I have been tutoring Physical Sciences and Mathematics for three years. The approach sees the use of moderated slides containing concepts that are necessary for the identified curriculum and examples, of how to approach questions based on their level of difficulty.
-The teaching is done in English.
-In our time spent together, I aim to ensure that you feel comfortable with reflecting on your understanding of the given topic and hence assist in structuring the lesson based on your needs. The way I teach also resembles a university-type approach but more so emphasising interaction.
-These lessons are aimed at grade 12 students nationally (in South Africa) and any international students who may find it to be of great help.
