About Sofia
I am a contractual academic staff and I teach French at the University of Winnipeg and other organizations. I have 3+ years experience teaching French as a foreign language at The University of Sydney, UTS (both in Australia) and McGill University in Canada. I hold an MPhil degree in European Studies from the University of Sydney and a Joint Honours in German and Asian Religions from McGill University.

My classes are very interactive and are focused on putting into practice the grammar and vocabulary learned. My lessons are usually structured in three parts : 1. Correction of homework from previous class and brief review of the notions learned before, 2. Introducing and explaining the new grammar or vocabulary notion, 3. Putting these notions into practice through games in Kahoot, activities, role play, etc.
