About Jennie
I am an experienced educator and writing instructor with a deep commitment to helping students grow into confident, independent thinkers. I hold a Master of Arts in the Humanities from the University of Chicago, where my work focused on critical analysis, ethical reasoning, and advanced academic writing.
Over the past several years, I have worked with diverse learners in both classroom and one-on-one settings, supporting students as they develop stronger arguments, refine their writing voice, and approach complex material with confidence. My teaching combines structure with encouragement — I challenge students to think deeply while ensuring they feel supported throughout the learning experience.
What sets my teaching apart is my ability to meet students exactly where they are and help them move forward with clarity and purpose. Whether a student is building foundational skills or striving for top-tier academic performance, I focus on creating lasting growth rather than short-term fixes.
If you are looking for thoughtful, individualized support from a highly dedicated educator, I would be honored to work with you

I specialize in helping students develop the advanced reading, writing, and critical thinking skills that underpin academic excellence. Rather than focusing solely on completing assignments, I teach students how to analyze complex ideas, construct persuasive arguments, and write with clarity and authority.
With a background in the humanities at the graduate level and extensive teaching experience, I support students across a wide range of goals — from strengthening foundational writing skills to refining honors-level essays and preparing standout college applications.
Sessions are individualized, structured, and intellectually engaging. My goal is not only to improve immediate performance but to help students become independent, confident scholars.
Ideal for motivated middle school, high school, and college students seeking meaningful academic growth.
