About Wincy
Hi! I'm Wincy, and I’m a kinesiology student who’s always really enjoyed biology. I scored a 7 in IB Biology HL and I’m currently taking physiology courses in university.
I know how frustrating biology can get sometimes, especially when concepts seem like a lot to take in, so I try to be someone who makes it feel less overwhelming. I’m pretty easygoing and patient, and I genuinely like helping people understand things in a way that actually makes sense.
I take tutoring seriously, so I’ll always come prepared and try to make our sessions as helpful as possible, but I also want it to feel comfortable and not stressful. My goal is to help you feel more confident with the material and to actually understand it instead of pure memorization.

I focus on helping students actually understand concepts instead of just memorizing. I already help explain biology topics to my peers, so I’m used to breaking things down in a way that’s easier to follow. I like using simple explanations, diagrams, and practice questions, especially for physiology.
A typical lesson starts with going over anything you’re stuck on, then I’ll explain the topic step by step, and we’ll work through practice questions together so you're prepared for tests.
What sets me apart is that I scored a 7 in IB Biology HL and I’m currently taking physiology courses as a kinesiology student in university, so I’ve had to break down a lot of complex concepts to really understand them myself. Having been in your position, my main goal is to explain things in a way that makes sense for you. I’m patient and can adjust my methods based on what you need.
My lessons are for middle school and high school students, including IB Biology, who want to understand the material better and feel more confident for tests
