About Stephanie
I have a PhD in English Literature. I’ve taught for four years at a highly selective university on multiple courses, covering a range of genres of literature and time periods. I’m keen to help students develop the skills that will enable them to approach any aspect of English literature without any fear, and to foster a love of the subject.

Tutoring should be pupil led. I’m keen to help develop students’ subject knowledge, but recognise that essay writing, learning how to form a cogent argument, oral presentation skills and exam technique are all part of succeeding in English. All of these things can be incorporated into tuition sessions.
