Joe undertook a year in industry placement with our company with myself as his main supervisor, and has since returned to do a PhD with us. He was really enthused by seeing the applications of the physics and maths he was studying, and passes on that passion and experience in his tutoring. He had to adjust to a very different environment during the year in industry and was always personable and able to work well alongside all levels of experience. Joe is a hard worker and takes the time to understand other people's view, which will make him an excellent tutor.
