About Daniel
Choosing the right tutor can make a real difference to a student's confidence and performance. I achieved Grade 9 in both GCSE Maths and GCSE Statistics, followed by an A* in A-Level Mathematics, and I'm now studying Medicine at the University of Manchester. Having recently gone through these exams myself, I understand both the content and the exam techniques needed to achieve top grades.
I know that every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit their strengths, areas for improvement and learning style. My aim is to make maths feel logical and approachable by breaking difficult topics into simple steps, reinforcing understanding with plenty of practice and building confidence through GCSE-style questions.
As a medical student, I'm used to explaining complex ideas clearly and patiently. I create a relaxed, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. Whether you're aiming to secure a pass, improve your predicted grade or achieve a Grade 9, I'm committed to helping you reach your full potential while making maths a subject you can genuinely feel confident in.

Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to their individual needs, learning style and goals. Whether you're struggling with the basics, aiming to boost your confidence or working towards the highest grades, I'll create a structured plan to help you make steady progress.
My lessons focus on building genuine understanding rather than memorising methods. I break down difficult topics into simple, manageable steps before reinforcing them with plenty of guided practice and GCSE exam-style questions. Along the way, I'll share exam techniques, common pitfalls and problem-solving strategies to help you gain marks where they matter most.
I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students develop the confidence to tackle maths independently.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are suitable for GCSE students of all abilities, from Foundation to Higher Tier. As a University of Manchester medical student, I understand what it takes to succeed in demanding exams and enjoy helping students reach their full potential through patient, engaging and personalised tuition.
