My teaching methods will involve analogizing the new material with something you already know first hand. I will also fragment and decompose the material into something you already know.
A typical lesson plan might be on calculating a slope in precalculus. I would explain the practical value of understanding a slope, its practical applications and relevance. I would explain the mathematical definition of a slope, and how it relates to word problems. Then I would detail multiple examples of slopes.
What sets me apart as a tutor is that I have uncommonly strong verbal communication, and am naturally skilled at accurately inferring what other people are having trouble articulating about their difficulties.
My lessons are tailored toward middle school and high school students.
