About Hugo
I'm a Bachelor of Science graduate from the University of Melbourne, where I majored in Computing and Software Systems.
During my degree, I studied a wide range of computer science subjects, including programming, algorithms, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer systems and software development.
Beyond university, I've gained practical experience developing full-stack web applications, cloud-based systems and machine learning projects using technologies such as Python, Java, TypeScript, React, SQL and AWS.
Having recently completed my degree, I'm familiar with the challenges of learning programming concepts, working through university assignments and preparing for technical assessments. I enjoy breaking down complicated ideas and helping others develop the confidence to solve problems independently.
I'm patient, approachable and happy to adapt my explanations to suit different levels of experience.
